For some unknown reason, the last couple of months I am unable to post anything but quick replies on TB. If I try to use any other method, the text box is grey'd out. I am able to enter text into the box, but when I try to Preview or Post, I get a message that says "1.The message you have entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 1 characters."
I get the same error when I try to create a Thread.
This is happening both at home and on work computers (Windows machines) and from my iPad. The windows machines are both running IE9.

Any idea how I can resolve this issue? The webmaster at TB has not yet replied to my cries for help

Try running IE9 in compatibility mode or try a different browser.

I use Chrome pretty much exclusively these days, and don't really have any issues anymore.

well, that's what the TB webmaster recommends also. Only problem is, having Chrome installed hoses my ability to remote in to work via IE9 (i know, it shouldn't), and our IT group doesn't support Chrome, so I guessed I am up the creek for now

You can have both browsers installed simultaneously and you can leave IE as your default browser, so it shouldn't affect anything else on your machine.

Just open Chrome/Firefox/Safari whatever when you want to use TB.

ya, tried that, but having any other browser installed (not even running mind you) hoses my juniper remote desktop connection. Our version of Juniper is so old it barely supports IE9. maybe I'll just have corporate give me a machine and a KVM switch :!:

Not being able to post freely on TB is not such a bad thing. Heck, I might even get some work done LOL
