I thought I'd throw this out there in case anyone knows of anyone in the NY/NJ area. My cover band, Wolfgang Jack, is looking for a solid keyboard player, preferably with backing vocal skills and who can perhaps even pick up a guitar for an occasional song too. We play classic rock/new wave covers from the 60's thru 90's, with a few modern covers sprinkled in. Gigs range from weddings, corporate events, (we just played outdoors at the Larchmont Yacht Club last night...and I'm 5 lbs lighter today!), special events, etc. to club/bar dates. We have a repertoire of about 250 songs right now, though we're always adding a few new ones and purging others, so we're looking for someone with (obvious) skill and talent who can learn material quickly and/or has an extensive catalog of material.

If you know of anyone, get in touch with me at: pjmuck@verizon.net for more info, song lists, sound bites, etc.

Thanks!

Here's a link to some live soundbites.

Up until now I've been playing keys via my guitar synth (check out our version of Elvis Costello's, "Allison". I'm singing/playing the Fender Rhodes simulation on guitar), and I'm tired of the tap dancing I'm doing now on my complicated midi setup and just want to focus on singing and occasional rhythm guitar at this point. We're also heading away from the heavier guitar-oriented AC/DC Led Zep stuff and into more 80's synth-related stuff to hopefully expand our repertoire and make us a little more accessible.
