I wouldn't go that far. I know there's not a lot of BP love out there.

It should lead to more members. So it's a good thing.

Pardon the ignorance, but why is there so little love for BP? I understand having all of the Warwick ads is a little annoying, but I honestly don't understand what the issues are. Can someone eduate me?

Well... they've literally cut their content down about 50% in the last couple of years. I was looking through my back issues not too long ago, and an issue from a few years ago probably had twice as many pages with maybe only 3/4 of the ads. That probably has something to do with it.

I still have my subscription... and I still own almost every issue starting from #1. If you dig a little, you can subscribe for roughly a dollar an issue, and, to me, it's worth it.

I'd almost like to see them go back to a quarterly format and come out with some fat issues like they used to, but that's neither here nor there.

Educational as always. Thanks. I just got a subscription with them, especially for a dollar a month. Definitely worth it for me, so I was surprised that there was some dislike.

I was just kidding about the Wal-Mart comment. I have a subscription and it's OK but it used to be a lot more useful info to add ratio but it’s still pretty cool. I like the new featured independent luthier articles. Info about new gear is usually behind as well. I think the interwebs are hurting most niche and even broad interest mags. Many of the ads are the same too month after month.

As far as getting more lefties aware about this site that is awesome.

Wait a minute...it is the begining of April and you already have the May 2012 issue!?!

Do you also have next week's newspapers so that I can get the lottery winning numbers?

Magazines are always dated ahead. Don't ask me why.

I won't see this issue in Canada for another week or two but I'm looking forward to it.
