Dammit. :(

Would've liked to see that.

Hope you're having fun Rod!

They are such an awesome band!
I saw them on the "Tapehead" tour. They still had alot of early material in their set and I was blown away by how they were able to nail so much of that music live. It wasn't just the vocal harmonies but also the "spacey" effects and stereo panning/ echo stuff that is all over "Gretchen Goes To Nebraska", "Out Of A Silent Planet" and "Faith, Hope, Love"

They have only played in Phoenix since then so I haven't been able to see them since that tour. Sad, because I think the last couple of albums have seen their strongest in a long time they moved back towards their earlier, hard rock style and I'd really like to see them again. There was a period before OgreTones when they were seriously considering throwing in the towel, I'm so glad they didn't.

So Rod, did dUg break out the 12ver? :D

you can clearly see it on the stand behind him ... and sadly that's where it stayed for the entire second (3:00P) set :(

also sorry to see that the video link above wasn't for any of the older material, and didn't show their extrodanary set ending. I'll see if I can dig that one up, as the timing was simply splitting my brain after two full days of floor walking

o, o, o here's a few more links!!!!!

Old band of mine opened for them in the 90s, after the show Doug told me it had to be the only show ever to have two lefty bass players playing 12-string basses. Yep, probably so.
