Yeah. That is notably more than I paid for my MJ-4, and I went hog-wild with options. |

Now down to a much more reasonable price of $1,600 (was originally $2,950). |

The Reverb listing price was adjusted to $1400. Much better than the original asking price. And no surprise that the new owner loves it! |

Well my opinion has since changed about these basses. I used to own a very heavy '96 one about 10+ years ago, and I sold it. The lack of an upper horn really made the 1st fret feel a mile away. But it did sound great. Fast forward to this Sept. I was really missing the G&L sounds and wanted an L2000, but I spotted this gorgeous butterscotch '13 ASAT and said I'd be willing to give them another chance. It's relatively light, sounds amazing (especially strung up with flats now), and with the proper strap adjustment the 1st fret doesn't feel so far away now. J bass neck profile very comfy too. It's become one of my main gigging basses. What can I say, I'm better at figuring these thing out than I was 10 years ago. Attachment: IMG_6893.jpg [ 60.09 KiB | Viewed 6444 times ] |
