...if the chrome parts had been blackened, it would be a lot better. I quite like the idea of Gibson style Speedknobs on a Fender type bass - but they have to match the other controls. Comes to one of my top annoyances - why do so few knob ranges have matching styles for various jobs? You want large main knobs (vol/tone), smaller subsidiary (other tone or special), Stacked control dual-concentric and pointer knobs for rotary switches. |
