Holy S**t! :D I always wanted a P Bass, but I prefer something from the 1960s (personal preferance)

if it turns out to be what the seller claims, you can't beat that price with a stick. Not a lot of 73 anythings out there.

Yes that is a good price considering that it's "vintage".

If I had the $$$ I would offer the guy $800 period, it would cost $75 to ship it.
It is sufficently trashed that I would do a refinish. Replace the EMG with a better pup.

There is no case and Fenders of that era all came with cases.

The bass weighs 10 pounds, so it is one of the "heavy 70's"

You could grab this off the bay and send it off to Lindy Fralin for a rewinding. It ran me about $70 to get my '73 PUP rewound by them to vintage P specs, and now it sounds amazing:

+1 for Lindy and Fenders. I had someone come over to my place with his 79 Jazz. he had put in the stacked hum cancelling pups into his bass. I was totally bowled over by the classic tones that just oozed from his bass.

I would say to put a darkstar in it, but i wouldn't wanna decrease the value of it so i say +2 for Lindy
