Rondo has a cheap 6-string also for $175... $99 shipping to me in Hawaii, but to Santa Rosa, Ca (West Coast), for example, only $46... not a bad deal... http://www.rondomusic.com/URSA26mnashnaleft.html |

I wanted to experiment with playing a 6 string and didn't want to spend a ton of $. I was very impressed with it right out of the box. The neck was really well constructed, finished and dressed. I dropped an Audere preamp into mine and now it's a killer instrument. I just need more excuses to play a 6er. |

Damn that is pretty sweet. I wish these basses would accept Fender necks. You could pop a US neck on there and have an alder Fender Jag PJ for well under $500. How cool would that be! |

I would say the neck is thicker because I have one of these bodies with a Fender Pawnshop Reverse Jaguar neck and I had to add 4 guitar picks (for each screw making it 16 picks) into the neck pocket but now the height worked out great, I want to cut a shin with the same thickness to cover the entire neck pocket and glue it down. If you’re handy with power tool you could also trim the difference! |
