I have always wanted to try one of these. I dig modern hi-fi jazz bass tones. That is why I got my G&L MJ-4. But, I don't know if quite fits the bill. Maybe it is the amp that is not quite right. I am using a TH500 (the guy in the video below is using an SC500) into a MarkBass 1x12 cab with a B7K. I maybe should have gone with the MarkBaww combo. Maybe my current rig nails the tone and it's just the recording situation that gives the extra something. https://youtu.be/JqTxhvwaSPk |
