Eeekk! Look at the bridge alignment and where the strings are aligned over the pickup poles. That could be the reason its cheap.. blem. You can't adjust the saddles horizontally on a G&L bridge.

G&L is generally really good about quality control. Surprised this skipped the QC. I had a new 2017 JB5 that was absolutely perfect that I unfortunately had to sell to Johntheleftybassist due to some incoming bills..... he claims he might be selling it. If so and you need a good 5 string, snag it!!!! |

I'm impressed by how faithfully they're copying the Fender Jazz Bass. Did they leave a gap in the neck pocket, too? |

Honestly that looks to me like a badly assembled neck joint. There's a good chance you'd be able to loosen the neck screws, tap the neck over to realign, and tighten it right back up. |

* Not sure bout that but worth a try. Its not a Fender. The tolerances are much better on G&L's. Someone here buy it and let us know
