Ciid%253A2 I've always been curious about these, because every review I see is either A) greatest bass ever, B) worst bass ever, fit for home defense if you don't want to scuff your baseball bat, or C) possibly the greatest bass ever or possibly firewood depending on what the dude was drinking when he made it. This one has a decent looking body. Anyone here ever play one and want to weigh in? |

I've had a couple. Had that same model too. They sound amazing, but don't expect playability when you get it. I was told by Wish before mine shipped that it had "nice low action", which I guess is true if you dig 1/4" string height off the fingerboard. Speaking of the fingerboard, it was a disaster. It was so shitty, it actually had some scalloping. Extremely uneven and with no discernible radius. I did fix it up though. I dressed the fingerboard with a 10" radius block, radiused the "bridge", and did a nice tung oil finish on it, and it played great then. Weighed a ton though. If you like to tinker, you might enjoy this. |

A very nice looking specimen. It's been a while since a lefty showed up. By all accounts, they're not really gig-ready out of the box. |
