That 63 jazz must have been previously owned by most esteemed board member and lefty bassist extraordinaire Yves Carbonne: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OQLOQpfUqfI as well as the 66 jazz now for sale at vintage lefty guitars. I remember that 63 was for sale at vintage and rare guitars in London several years ago. I recall it had a replaced pickup although I'm not sure whether it was the neck or bridge pickup. If that is the case (but I could be mistaken), its price on Rumble Seat Music is questionnable, to say the least. Beautiful, gorgeous bass(es) though! |
