That looks like the honey finish. Good price.

I used to own it. It's honeyburst, but the burst is very subtle. Two-piece ash body with a beautiful grain. The color is much lighter under brighter light. I can post some other pics if you're interested.

I believe it's the 1.625" neck. I shielded the cavities with copper tape before I sold it.

Great bass for the price. I've considered buying it back but I can't justify owning a sixth 4-string electric.

That is a beauty - what only 5 four strings clearly you need to buy it back :)

Like Peaches and Herb, we're reunited.

(And it feels so good.)

Just as pretty as I remember her.

yet another family re-unification story! I swear to god if they aren't in junkpiles by now, I'll get my hands on the Eko and Hagstrom basses I started out on ... wouldn't mind finding my 1st fretless too. it was a black Kramer w/wood neck and two J pups last seen in the vicinity of downtown Toronto around 1990 ...

Way to go, Geoff!

And keep the faith Az. May this story keep all of our re-unification hopes alive!

Well, after having it a year and not playing it, I'm going to put this beauty on the selling block for $700 shipped/insured to CONUS.

G&L L-2000
mid-late 1990s
serial B030XXX
2-piece ash body in honey burst
rosewood board and bi-cut maple neck (with some nice birdseye)
almost certain it's the #7 neck with 12" fretboard radius and not the #5 with 7.5" radius (if you care, let me know and I'll confirm)
3-bolt neck joint with micro tilt adjustment (on black powder-coat plate)
very good condition, a few tiny dings and light scratches on the finish only
cavities shielded with copper tape
10.4 lbs.
Non-original case

More pics and details coming.

Thanks.

Geoff
