I put in an offer on this bass. I want a 90's era Warwick with PJ configuration very very badly. Also its double win because the fretless neck will go on the body in my avatar for a fretless Corvette. Win Win. Come to think of it, maybe I should have put in a stronger offer but the bass is in Norway, I've had soso luck with overseas shipping and the seller has no seller feedback. We shall see.

No dice. Maybe it will be relisted.

Relisted at $100 more than it didn't go for last time around. Do any of guys/gals have any general thoughts on this listing/bass/neck(s).

Price seems pretty good to me, even before the bonus neck and pickups. It's a really beautiful bass. I have never played one, but I LOVE my German Corvette. Of course I only paid $500 for the 'Vette :D

Must not be a motivated seller, though, if he/she is hiking the price after an expired listing. I don't know how badly you want it, but maybe bump your offer by $100 also? I doubt the seller would accept the same offer after hiking the price.

That is a fair price with 2 necks (even with a righty fretless neck). You do know it is in Norway.
Change the pickups to EMG and it will be good. Shoot, the Alembic might be really good.

Thanks for the replies guys. I had pm'd him about my shipping concerns. He said that he planned on building a wooden crate for it to ship in. A wooden crate will add considerable price to the shipping cost, which is on the buyer. The $72 shipping is an estimated cost to which the buyer is responsible for the actual cost. So to sum up, the buyer may be in for a surprise in shipping or opt out of the wooden crate ( which may not be an option) and roll the dice on how it shows up.

Wooden crate from Norway and you don't know the shipping cost until after you commit to it? "Roll the dice" is right. I don't blame you for being wary. At the very least more communication is in order.

I bought the bass and neck today for less than the asking price. The seller aproached me and we struck a deal. Fixed shipping cost and he assured me he'd pack it like he would pack his kid if he were shipping it  I'm really excited for this! I will put together a fretless Corvette ( my first fretless) and I will have a Warwick PJ! I friggin' love PJs, my favorite configuration. When this all comes together I will post pics. I also have another Warwick that I've been holding out on to you all because I've been too lazy to set up an image hosting account.

Well as my luck would have it the seller said the carrier won't accept packages over 27in long so I got the ol "I'll disassemble the bass and pack it very well and refund the difference of the hardcase" . No. No case no deal. I told him if it does not ship in a case I will need a full refund.

The one and only bass I bought from overseas and was packed like that and showed up with the tip of headstock sticking out of the box and dent in the neck from clanging against the body during the ride. Now I'm just scared. The seller better issue a full refund and not give me any monkey business.
