Anybody know anything about these? Made in Japan, Jazz-ish shaped body, pointy headstock, PJ pups. Yes please!

This is one of those basses I didn't know I wanted until I saw it.

There is a quite a bit of differences between a Pro (Professional) as advertised and a regular EX - prices included:

Hope that helps!

Thank you. That does help alot. If I understand it right, this is the lower end of the totem pole for the Japanese models, but a Japanese model nonetheless. I shall adjust my bidding cap accordingly. Thanks guys and that link is some collection. Wow

it was made in Japan because that is all "professional" meant back then, just like Henriks site says, but cost was not a factor and the lefty heads never got the extra sticker anyway.
I had a white righty futura EX that said professional on the logo.

having 2 of them already, as rare as they are I don't need another or I would be part of the bidding.
I also have a Japan-export only GroverJackson standard which is essentially a bolt on kip winger with the 4knobs/preamp
