Crescenze, could you please tell me what you mean by mixed message, as you have me a little worried now as I bought a lefty 2000 4003 in June! |

This is likely to compensate for the listing and shipping costs, and to give them some room to negotiate. It is just funny that they didn't bother to remove the tag. You have no need to worry about your bass, buddy! Ricks rule! What is neat is that whatever they did with the lighting makes it look like it has a satin finish, which looks really cool. But, RIC doesn't do satin. |

Im still loving the 4003 though, and I got it for £1375 which i thought was a bargain, you usually see leftys in the Uk for around 1800 to 1900 GBP. I didnt get a Ric case though, but I dont play a case. |

Still messing with Rick o sound, amazing clarity even through 2 practice amps. Ive also got a little behringer micromixer to recombine the signals into the Ashdown and that sounds good also. Looking at trying 2 of the behringer bd121 preamps which have great reviews for not much money. Ill keep you posted on that one. Also i think i will look at getting the pots rewired righty, as it seems natural to me to turn clockwise to increase, and as they are right handed audio taper pots in the bass (i believe ) they dont seem to do a lot as in all or nothing, do you agree? |

Please do keep me posted. I have had great success with running stereo, and I would be very interested to hear what you come up with. I haven't used any Behringer stuff. I use two Line 6 PODs and an Alto mixer with headphones. Living in an apartment is not conducive to large cabinets. I do highly recommend getting a righty wiring harness for the Rick. I got an Aceonbass wiring harness for my 4001V63 and it made a noticeable improvement in tone. He uses correct pot values, and wires them righty so that they don't taper so quickly. You can him send a message on TalkBass or RickResource. He is a great guy to deal with. Keep me posted, and if I can be of any help, don't hesitate to send me a message! |
