Yes the price is almost double what I would consider a good starting bid. When I was a kid, 16 years old in 1980, I wanted my first real bass. I wanted a Ric and my teacher (whom I asked for a recommendation) suggested the 1980 Music Man bass as these are amazing basses and at the time were around $350-$400. I went with the Ric, still have it today but always wanted one of these late 70's early 80 basses but again this price is not even worth thinking about. |

As with all "Make An Offer" listings, the price of this bass is the lowest amount the seller is willing to accept. Does anyone know what that amount is? |

Seller, raretoyzz have been around a long time. I believe they are a vintage broker. Thats a silly inflated price but rare lefty Ray. |
