I'm surprised that they're being made so recently. These days you don't see many people openly illegally using the Fender headstock. It really amuses me to see the J pickup on the P in that position. |

Hah! my first guitar was a Faim - I remember taking the bus to the factory just outside Buenos Aires (in Lujan) to pick it up. It was a cheap Strat knock-off. As pointed out, not great quality instruments, but have been around for over 50 years, and probably any musician from Argentina has at some point in their lives played a Faim.
