Love those CAR P-Basses -- had one as my main player for awhile and I miss the color! (I'm so vain. . . ) But when it comes with MIA Ps, I'd definitely stick to post 2008 or pre 1983. I love the resonant and light bodies of post 2008s, and the neck carves are great, too. Those in between from the '90s and 2000s aren't bad, but are heavier, and have inconsistent fret work. At $600 is a great buy; at $900, not so much. Just thinking out loud. |
