This one keeps popping up in different states. I wonder if something is wrong with it. It's been listed on and off for 6-8 months at Guitar Shitter.

I've wondered similar. It looks nice so its odd that a vintage lefty Fender would sit unsold.
Might be a serious boat anchor.

I did check this bass out when it was listed at the Syracuse GC. Andrew you are right, she was very heavy!! Everything looked good when I did check on it. Mind you that I did not take anything off of the instrument when doing this.

I could see into the bridge cover that the saddles could be adjusted down and the action was not terrible. The strings were dead, but that is really not an issue. The alignment of the string onto the neck looked good, ie: not favoring one side or the other. The neck felt solid, but I didn't really reef on it either. The finish had the usual wear for a 36 plus year old bass (not abused). All the parts looked period correct, I didn't ask to see the case.

That said, if I had the cash, I would have left the store with it. If you have a strong back and want a Vintage Jazz, this might be your bass!

Tried to make an offer on this one a while back but they wouldn't budge, the dumbasses. Such a cool bass.
