Strange how the only wear/damage to this bass is under where the bridge cover was... but at the bottom on the back side... how do you think that got there? |

It looks like there's also wear on the very upper part of the body where the arm would rub while playing. That damage by the bridge could be from some unfortunate smacks over the years or from flaking due to quick weather changes, which happened in random places on my 68 P when I once went too quickly from the cold band van to the warm hotel room -- wherever the finish was 'weak' or any bit compromised, it flaked off. |
