Seems a little steep for non-vintage with power-tool mods and evidence of careless handling. But thought worth sharing anyway.

I just saw this and wonder if the body is a Fender original cause it doesn't have the holes in the back for the strings.
Actually it looks like a Squier body just like the one I had and sold to 2ToneIdiot.
There are 14 screws instead on 13. The additional screw is by the right side in the same position as the Squier.

Is it just the way the picture was taken, or is that J-pup installed slightly crooked?

Good eye, Paulo. A couple of quick searches and I see that the Squier P/Js have the 14-bolt pattern. As for the ugly rout, the J rout on Squiers is only big enough for a neck J, not a bridge J, so it was probably widened for the aftermarket pup.

(I hope I'm spelling "rout" correctly).

I sent them a message about it but it seems they wanna play dumb and pretend they don't know anything about it and see if someone takes the bait.
