This is 10 minutes from my house if anyone wants me to go check it out. (Which I may do myself for the pure fun of it!) |

That's a pretty good price and looks to be in excellent condition. I've owned my 84 XL2 since 1986 and it's a great bass, especially in the studio. Steinberger didn't make a lot of lefty XL2'S and they're fairly hard to find. If you really want it, I would jump on this one. You may not find another any time soon. |

I think I want one back I sent an email to the seller. I will let you know when I hear back. If you are seriously interested, as jersey bluesdude says, you may want to jump on this one independently--just let the seller know that Richard is with you (so he doesn't tell you someone else--me--is first in line) and that I'm going to check it out for you. If you decide to buy, I can also do the local pick-up and we can coordinate shipping. |

Hmmm... I might be interested in that too... of course Sly gets first crack at it. And I'd be offering a trade... |

I'll leave it up to slybass3000 and markcv to continue to try to make contact with the seller (since I already sent an email). I'm ready to be their eyes and ears if they want me to check out the bass for them. Just let me know! |
