Well that's what he's calling it. I'm calling it a parts bass. There's no known Steiny body shape that matches this, and the neck and body have a funky mismatched bind (Looks like somebody just sawed the neck off one bass and added another), so other than the bridge and maybe the knobs NOT a Steiny. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Steinberger-Cus ... Righthand wood neck with some type of fabricated/machined part to hold strings behind nut. Set neck with trussrod cover at heel? (The original Steinberger XM series had graphite necks bolted to body) It's definitely a "kustom". |
