I'm going to be in Hawaii in June. If it hasn't sold by then, I may check it out. Gonna drop him a note. You never know.

Shoots (as they say in Hawaii), I'm on the wrong Island... this is on the Big Island, and I'm on Oahu... with that in mind, does it look period correct, other than the Bart pickups? I have a friend on that Island who could look at it, and buy it for me if it was the real deal...

There are a few modifications, It's hard to tell from the picture for sure but the bridge appears to be a replacement. Looks larger. Possibly a Badass or similar high mass type. The pick guard is a replacement. No holes for the thumb rest which would have been on the bass side of the pick guard not on the body. So if you get a correct guard there will be two hole left from the present location. Not the worse relocation I've seen but still not correct. The neck looks right and depending on the condition might be worth the price alone. The body finish also appears to be period correct, but I would want to check the body pocket, and pot codes as well to see exactly what it is.
