Great price in a sadly underrated MIA poor man's Jazz...

No pic @ the listing page:

but the thumbnail @ the main lefties' page shows what looks like a '80s bridge:

Mine. I think you're right that this is an 80s bass. This is my second. My other one has a maple fretboard.
I'll know in about a week from now.

Thanks for the heads up!

Glad to help! :D

Do let us know everything about it! (and for the record, I envy badly your maple board  )

Well, I received the bass today and it's everything I had hoped it would be.
It's an '87. Straight neck. Powerful PUPS. Just needs new strings and an intonation.

Sweet! My my first bass was a Peavey Fury II, and it really is a great bass. It plays fantastic, it is very versatile, and it is light as a feather. Now that the years have gone by and I have owned many basses, I appreciate it now more than I ever have.

I am happy for you, man! I would love to see some pictures if you get around to it. Mine is more of a poor man's P (although that hardly does it justice), but I am definitely a Jazz guy.

Happy for you, Pete!

(I somehow/accidentally followed your steps: a pair of RB650s, a '91 Foundation... I only digressed with Conley's Ransom and a modded Spector Legend ;) )

...and am joining the chorus: pics or it never happened!

Haha - still trying to reassemble my Hondo II....

I'll get photos up asap, but I'm working on a new novel, got two day jobs going, and we're premiering
my new film at the end of the month. I hardly have any time to even play (any of the 15 basses that I own).
