 Post subject: New Ibanez Talman Bass

Interesting and pretty inexpensive. I like the look of these, even if it is a conglomeration of about 4 or 5 other basses. And it doesn't look like a 34" scale bass in the photos to my eyes, but it is:

I was tempted to try but after doing a bit of research I got pissed. First, we have to pay $50 more compared to a right-handed, and, to add insult to injury, righties get to choose from several beautiful colors and we lefties are left with the perennial black. Ugh!

Agreed. But I'm more bummed that this hipster relic looking thing isn't offered in lefty at all:

Also, anyone know why semi-hollows are predominantly short scale? I've got an itch for a semi-hollow, but would prefer 34".

There used to be a lefty version of that one, in a regular burst finish.
