This one seems to be passive like the regular Fender Jazz Basses, I would prefer it with the L200 electronics on it! |

It is a jazz bass clone - I used to own one they are nice, I am just not much of a jazz bass guy. |

Interesting colour mismatch in two halve of the neck! They are clearly the same piece of wood, because they cut the neck in half to install the truss rod and you can tell from the flame near the 5th fret they are indeed the same piece, and yet there is a very pronounced difference. Odd! Could they have accidentally rotated one of the two halves by a quarter? |

I think the on purpose rotated (flipped) the wood, to overcome the warping of the wood. Working against each other should cancel bending and warping. The big difference might come off the reflection of the flash, because of the opposite grain? |
