http://www.guitarcenter.com/Used/ESP/LT ... -Guitar.gc I ordered it from the used gear site and left it at my local GC. Good points: body is in good condition.. Bad points: headstock has hit something hard, has cracked and been repaired badly. One piece fell off during shipping. This will be a tricky fix due to the color of the wood, and it's a neck thru... Action is really high- I did not look at the trussrod, so it may be ok, but after seeing how much care was taken with the headstock, I was not prepared to trust it. Electronics work, but at least one pot may need some attention (easy fix). All in all, not the best " good condition" bass out there .. |

Thanks, really appreciate your input and honesty NoXX - as I was pulling the trigger on it when decided to check our beloved forum! In short: you saved my bacon and I owe you big time! |

In short: you saved my bacon and I owe you big time! No worries! Glad to help. It's always a sad day when you go to pick up a bass and you realize it's not quite what you expected. The split in the headstock would take some effort to hide, or to re-shape. I'd be up for the challenge if it was a vintage or rare/unusual lefty, and especially if it was a bolt-on and I could just throw on a new neck, but for me this one needed to be a bit better (I was also a bit put out that the store selling it didn't feel the need to mention the obvious issue). It's cheap, but not that cheap |

Thanks for pointing it out! |
