I know this has been for sale for a long time on and off, and I think it has been posted here before but I can't find it:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/151836238923?_t ... EBIDX%3AIT

It has some issues, like the finish repair, replaced pick guard, and gold hardware (not really an issue I guess but I don't care for it - maybe w another pick guard it would look ok), but the pickups and electronic config look kinda cool. I emailed the seller to ask about that.

What do you lefty Fender experts think of this?

He finally lowered the price. He had it listed for about $2400 for a long time.

Don't know about the issues, but it's hideous to look at. The pickup combo seems interesting though.

I don't like the looks either but the pickups I am curious about. I will post about that when I hear back from the seller.

I was saying that I don't like the looks of it by using a quote from a cartoon.

Thanks for the welcome!!!!! I've been trying to get a membership HERE for the longest time.
Have been lurking for MANY Moons.
You can find me at the RickResource Forum under the name "Lefty4003s8"

My favorite basses are made by Rickenbacker, and Fender. Have owned and currently own quite a few of both.

One of my "Dream" basses was posted here a little while back----'72 Rick 4001LH MG. It was a little out of my price range.
(Conley, I was surprised that you didn't post this piece over at the forum. I'd been checking periodically but no post.
I'm just kidding with you, 'cause you're so good at alerting us Lefties over in Rickenbackerland  )

So far, I've learned a lot by visiting here. I'm particularly impressed by the wealth of Fender bass knowledge you guys possess.
I only hope that I am able to contribute some of my knowledge, and be of assistance.
