The neck pickup routing looks to have been very well done.

I agree but the staining on the headstock not so much :cry:

WOW!!!! My very FIRST post.

I'm not sure, but, I think this bass was mine. I'm a little confused though.

I had TWO left handed Rick 4000 basses--both MapleGlo, both from '76. One was completely original, the other was converted to a 4001. The converted bass had stained Head stock wings. It also came housed within a non original HSC.
I recently sold this bass to the Guitar Center located in Raritan NJ. When they opened her up, the newer pots dated to '77.

What confuses me is.......GC told me that they would be shipping this bass to their Hollywood CA branch. HOW did this wind up at a completely different store with Jersey????
As far as I was able to find out, THIS bass was one of only two Lefty 4000's made. :?

Anybody have pictures from this ad.????????
