I looked at these very hard a while ago, since one of the 2 remaining empty spots in my herd is for a long-scale hollow-body. They are supposed to be very nice - especially the very high-$$ German ones - but for me they were a no-go. Reasons? All of them are actually semi -hollow (and that spot is already filled); and, if you want a 4-string, only the German-made one is 34" scale. The others are medium (32") scale. Which is OK, but not what I want. So, I'm still looking... but, all the reviews I've read are good, and the sound clips are, too. |
