I'm curious if anyone here has taken a gamble on one of these Eden paddle necks off ebay. I wouldn't expect high quality: http://www.ebay.com/itm/EDEN-Paddle-Bas ... 235314cd8a |

I've used 3. One maple black block, one maple dot and one rosewood peal block. They have all been stable. I've had no problem with setting them up to my taste (average to low). Depending on the season sometimes you can slightly feel the fret edges. The maples more than the rosewood. I've felt Fender Squires that were worse. The heel is just a bit wider thicker than a Fender neck pocket, so some fitting has to be done on the width issue. Depth wise you might get by ,but the saddles have to be set very high. Might be a pretty good match to a Badass bridge. Hope this helps. |
