Ronn, how do those bass VI's generally sound as far as low end goes? For some reason I have it in my mind that they might not be as bottom heavy as a 'normal' bass (I guess because of the lighter string gauges etc).. |

The set on my basses is .95 .75 .56 .44 .35 .26 so not THAT light, they have plenty of oomph. I have a Schecter and a Gretsch currently, and both have good bottom, my old Jerry Jones Longhorn VIs were a bit more on the twangy side tho'. |

Oh ok cool. I wrongly assumed the gauges were way lighter than that. |
