Is that aftermarket Hipshot bridge a direct drop in replacement or would it require any further routing? (Oh Bill?)

I'm not sure why the seller needed to send it out to "Philtone Guitar" for installation, unless they're just not that knowledgeable about setting up an instrument.

The Supertone is a direct replacement for the stock Gibson bridge. The stock bridge can be re-installed using the original hardware.

That is a great price, esp considering that 2013 was the one and only year they were made. No more t birds.

Quick Question, I have seen this before, why do people blur or cover up the last digits of the Serial Number? In this posting they have white tape over it, what information does the seller not want to give away? I am not going to bid on this but I agree great price and great bass I was just curious.

Some folks get antsy about displaying full serial numbers because of whatever forgery concerns they have.

Hiding the serial number makes total sense for $20,000+ vintage watches and guitars (see it all the time). Makes little sense for things that cost a couple thousand dollars; not enough upside in the forge :)
