Wow, 2" at the nut seems pretty excessive unless it was a custom order. I have three 5 strings and two of them (F Bass and Carvin) are 1 13/16", and my M bass is 1 7/8".

I'd say he's messed up his measures as it doesn't look 2" wide at the nut and 2.5" at neck end? 6 string territory nut and 4 string Jazz last fret? Can't see it but it's his bass....
