at Harris Hire in the UK: http://www.harris-hire.co.uk/ Closing down sale. I've been after the jazz for a while, and have seen detailed pics but decided not to buy. The Jazz bass (£ 4950) seems legit with honest mojo. Neck date stamp reveals 7Aug66A. Strange holes at the back of the neck where it fits in the neck pocket. Also someone wrote 'Paul' in the neck pocket, a weird place to be writing a name... I'm not sure of the details I saw of the pots. They are cloth wired and look ok, but I couldn't completely see the details from the pics. Haven't seen any pics of the 63 P bass. It's a refin, £ 5750. |
