All I know is that Jauqo has been trying to sell that neck for months. He'll send you pics at your request, and his price is firm. From what I vaguely remember, the neck is in decent shape.

Good luck!!

We've been emailing back and forth on this neck. It's quite nice

Cool. I really wanted to do a Warmoth Antigua body/pickguard, but their Warmoth parts never fit Fender parts too well. Think I'm gonna go either fiesta red/ tortoise or sonic blue/mint green from B. Hefner Co. What do your luthier's opinion, Rodent?

I've not used any of their product before, but if they are actually following the exact Fender specs like they say you should be able to fit your neck with minimal sanding on the neck pocket sides.

their retail pricing for painting services looks to be in-line with other places I use and also with what Wilkins charges ( http://www.wilkinsguitars.com/pricelist.html ) but you will also have the added option of choosing a Nitro finish if you want (something that is getting more and more difficult to find)

all the best,

R
