Again, nice but very pricey... Too bad, 1982 is my birth year.

That price is insane.
Not particularly a fan of the wenge facings either. I love the shedua ones, often with a slight flame :)

It's a collector bass, meant to be kept under locks and not played. I hate that... But hey, people do what they want.

Fantastic! But, yeah that price is a Hail Mary from someone who doesn't really want to sell it. ;)

Indeed. Priced to keep.

I have owned 2 Wal basses (both 4 string) and I will say the electronics are the best I ever used. The filters are worth every penny. Build quality was top notch as well. If you have never played a Wal, I would recommend trying one at least.

Since I have mine it's my main bass, I have nothing that I don't like about it. In my main band, when I arrived with it, they instantaneously told me it was the right sound for us :)
Great tools...

Couldn't agree more. They're extremely versatile yet Wals definitely have their own signature sounds too. I own a fretless and it kills. The only thing I'll say about the filter preamp is it's sometimes hard to find your sounds again.
