That price is insane.
Not particularly a fan of the wenge facings either. I love the shedua ones, often with a slight flame :)

I have owned 2 Wal basses (both 4 string) and I will say the electronics are the best I ever used. The filters are worth every penny. Build quality was top notch as well. If you have never played a Wal, I would recommend trying one at least.

Since I have mine it's my main bass, I have nothing that I don't like about it. In my main band, when I arrived with it, they instantaneously told me it was the right sound for us :)

Couldn't agree more. They're extremely versatile yet Wals definitely have their own signature sounds too. I own a fretless and it kills. The only thing I'll say about the filter preamp is it's sometimes hard to find your sounds again. :lol:
