WOW! Wonder if it's all original? That LPB finish looks near mint from the photos and hasn't faded to that greenish tint that you see on a lot of 60's Fender LPB instruments. Attention Tom this could be the one for you. About $12700. by today's pound to USD conversion.

Music ground? Given their past history, I wouldn't touch that bass with a 10 foot pole. wouldn't be surprised one bit if it was aforgery. Just my 2 cents ...

Don't know about this dealers reputation. Did someone get burned by this guy?

Let's put it this way ... the owner and son of Music Ground had their passports revoked for a period of time after they were convicted of fraud. For selling un-authentic vintage instruments.

Good to know. I wonder how they remain in business after something like that happened. :?

a damn fine question if you ask me. These are the same folks that are mfgr'ing and selling the new line of Hiwatt amps. Another product I wouldn't go near. I'd rather buy a Reeves or a Hi-Tone if I wanted to go the HiWatt route.

Speaking of Hiwatts, they also have a history of selling bogus 'vintage' Hiwatts. Some of their old pieces were so blatantly modded that even an amp rookie like me could tell that new parts had been installed.

I would agree, if no pictures of the date stamp, no pictures of the electronics and most of all no SN are all warning signs. I never figured out why someone would post any vintage instrument without detailed pictures.
