Not sure what you mean by that - perhaps you have too many basswood bodies already? There are a gazillion basswood guitar/bass bodies out there. Literally tens of thousands of Stratocasters are basswood, thousands of basses, too. Nearly all the upper-end Strats and custom Strats are basswood instead of alder. A number of makers still use basswood, although you probably wouldn't know it. They tend to advertise anything not alder or basswood, but they still use those woods. MTD, G&L, etc. The black binding looks really cool, imho. |

Not only has he not stated or implied that at all, he's sharing with others an Ebay listing (of a basswood-bodied bass) he thought others might be interested in.
