Actually, I didn't really notice the inlays until you pointed those out. If they are as they appear, right under the B string at the fret positions, I would think those might be a bad idea. The inlays, not being wood, would sound different than the rest of the board and would likely have issues at the border between inlay and wood causing weird little buzzes and potential intonation issues. Could be one of the main reasons the last owner got rid of the bass. |
