I've got a '73 Strat in that same color. It really grows on you. I love the color. |

My first impression was like "meh" but then I started looking at it more and I was kinda digging it. Is a 1990s bass considered "vintage" now? I mean, are they at that point where they're starting to go up in value due to their age? This as opposed to one that's, say, five or 10 years old and is just a "used" bass. |

I beg to differ but I almost bought the same bass in Paris in 1996, this finish is called Vintage White. Olympic White is really white whereas this is yellowish. |

I think remember it as Vintage White as well. I checked my Olympic white reference from an old Strat spec sheet from 1996. I assumed the bass finishes were the same but now that you mention it, I believe you're right. |

I've had a few of these, and they are nice. The color looks more yellow or white depending on the light. These generally are really light and very resonant, and the neck profiles can be very thin. The fret work is not the best in these era (although not horrible) and maybe could use a dressing and fret-end polishing, but I used to play mine just as they were. |
