Right here in the Netherlands. http://link.marktplaats.nl/716166061 It was modified with a Seymour Duncan Quarterpounder, but the original pickup is still included. |

i might sound unpleasant, but everytime i see someone selling a "good" bass with quarterpounders installed and also the original pu, i read that as "ok the bass doesn't sound good, let's change the pickup to quarterpounders to see if some magic happens. ok the bass sound bad anyway, let's get rid of it" i know, i have a suspicious mind. maybe it's only self-defence against GASsing for those basses. |

If I had the cash to spare I'd be happy to grab this. |

I've had plenty of basses that sound great that I still swap the pickups in. It could be more of seeking a certain sound or output. Some of us just like to tinker with our gear, don't take it as a sign of a bad sounding bass. |

andrew, maybe you're right. it's just that i had too much bad luck in the past on buying "good" basses from the net without trying first. that's the reason why - altough i always had some money to spend - i never found a keeper, and my current main (and only) bass is a cheaper Bach (by the way, a very good bass for the price). |
