http://www.ebay.com/itm/1985-G-L-L2000- ... 20d0130162 I have an '83 L2K they are great sounding basses. The older ones have a slightly different sound, more mellow, and I find the active settings to be useful, unlike the newer ones, which I only played passive. It will be interesting to see what this goes for - I paid $1,000 for my '83 and it is worth it imo. |

Wow, Someone got an awesome deal, I have 3 G&L Basses, one of them is just like this one and out of 25 basses all of good quality the G&L is one of the tops and I still gig with it. The G&L basses from the 80's are amazing, I never understood why they are so low in value. I always thought everyone understood the name G&L (George Fullerton and Leo Fender) so it is a Fender product. I had a pre-cnc legacy strat-like guitar. I regret selling it. if I ever see it again (Israel is a small country) I'll snagg it right away. I think I even remember it's # |
