I emailed Jimmy C and here's what he said:

Even if I didn't go on a ridiculous spending spree over the last few months on a ton of new gear, $5695 is pretty rich for my blood... so, with a heavy heart I'll pass this discovery on to one of you, as long as you promise to leave it to me when you die. :lol:

Jimmy's Jazz basses are SMOKIN'. Where was that pic from? A trade show? It wasnt NAMM, Jimmy wasnt there... or was he...? Damn! Would have loved to play that one.

The price is expected. 1 guy build, all hand made. His 4 banger that was at NAMM last year was near 5k too. The red lefty. Very cool but yea.... Pricey.
