I'll pass as well. The black finish on the back bugs me. Why couldn't they leave it a bare mahogany back or burst like a Gibson?

I noticed the finish seemed off to me as well-- which sent me scurrying to check mine. My early Korean TB48 has a beautful true burst finish with reddish brown transparent edge, back and neck like a Gibson.

Maybe the pics in the listing are just dark, but I don't think so- it sure looks black, and original, to me, but interested buyers may want to confirm with the seller. There were probably a few different runs of TB48s produced in Korea even before production moved to China, so its anybody's guess when finish changes may have been implemented or deleted?
