Obviously very sweet bass, and way too many dollars for my tastes. I encouraged Jerry to up his lefty line up by giving Rod a call as well so that he can stock some of Rod's Regenerate Guitar Works products. |

You're second in line after Funky John... but don't hold your breath!  $5500 seems like a lot, but when you think of what a real '51 would cost and then add to that the fact that this bass is probably built better and sounds at least as good as any "real" '51 out there *ducks for cover* , then it's not that bad of a deal.It's also not going to lose any significant value either... the market's down right now, but in a better economy you could probably easily sell that bass for more than what you paid for it. As for me, I'm saving my money up for this one...  Dick Dale's Chartreuse Sparkle P-Bass from legendary Fender masterbuilder John English's private collection? SIGN ME UP!!!
