KSD 705 with upgraded pickups and preamp. Since I love the Ash/Maple combo for a Jazz Bass I've always been interested in those. Unfortunately, I read a few times they had some quality issues (dead spots, frets...)

There is a store near here called Bill's Music that has 3 or 4 of these in lefty in stock, and I never cared for them. Way too heavy for me. Don't remember issues with dead spots or sharp frets, but I did not like the extreme amount of hiss from the preamps or their take on the jazz bass tone. I'll take my Jazz Deluxe any day of the week over that one.
